A focused Boca Raton paver repair that corrected sunken and separated driveway areas while preserving the surrounding paver field.
The Problem
Sections of this Boca Raton driveway had settled and opened, leaving uneven pavers near the working area and visible changes across the surface. The broader driveway remained serviceable, so a complete replacement would have disturbed good material without addressing the localized reason for the movement. The repair objective was to restore a safer, more continuous driving and walking surface while retaining as many existing pavers as practical.
What We Found
Once the affected pavers were lifted, the low area could be evaluated at the base instead of only from the finished surface. The repair photographs show why sinking pavers should not simply be topped with sand or forced level from above: support, edge conditions and nearby water movement have to be considered together. We also reviewed the surrounding pattern so the reset section could tie back into the original field cleanly.
What We Did
Palm Beach Pavers removed and staged reusable pavers, cleared unstable material and rebuilt the affected supporting area to the required elevation. The pavers were then reset in the existing pattern, with alignment checked against the garage, driveway edge and adjacent courses. Damaged units were replaced only where necessary. The focused scope kept sound portions of the driveway in place while correcting the section that had actually failed.
The Result
The repaired driveway has a more even surface, tighter course alignment and cleaner transitions through the corrected area. Reusing the original pavers also helped the repair blend with the weathered color of the surrounding driveway. Materials / Repair Method
