Palm Beach County service
Authentic Chicago brick has irregular color, wear and texture that should be preserved rather than made artificially uniform. Restoration calls for patient sorting, careful resetting, thoughtful replacement of damaged units and an understanding of how an older brick installation was assembled.

Common reasons
Visible surface changes are useful clues, but they do not always reveal the complete condition below. During a site visit, we look at the affected area in context: nearby edges, drains, thresholds, roots, runoff and the age of surrounding work.
Our scope
Old brick is intentionally varied. The measure of a good restoration is not making every unit identical; it is stabilizing the surface while keeping the age, proportion and character that made the material desirable.
Before work begins, the estimate describes what will be disturbed, what can be saved, how the area will be prepared and what finished variation is realistic. That makes it easier to compare recommendations and helps avoid surprises once the surface is opened.
We also look beyond the immediate work line. A repair or installation should meet garages, doors, drains, coping, sidewalks and landscape edges cleanly. If another trade is needed for plumbing, structural, pool or irrigation work, that coordination is identified early.
Document the existing bond, borders and reusable material
Lift and sort brick so original pieces can return where practical
Repair base, straighten courses and replace unusable units
Remove failed mortar and install compatible new mortar where specified
Clean carefully and discuss sealing without erasing historic character

Materials & options
Samples are considered in the actual setting whenever possible. Florida light, shade and surrounding finishes can make a small showroom sample look very different outdoors.
Availability, suitability and manufacturer requirements are confirmed for the final selection. We avoid promising an exact match to older weathered material until a sample has been compared at the property.

We review surface condition, edges, access, elevations and likely causes before defining a scope.

Project documentation
Wide views, close details and consistent before-and-after angles help explain the visible condition and the finished result. The photographs on this page show the range of surfaces, repairs and transitions we evaluate.

Questions homeowners ask
Yes. We save usable originals and blend compatible reclaimed pieces where replacement is necessary. Availability and color variation are discussed before work.
Aggressive pressure can damage softer brick or mortar. Cleaning methods should be selected after evaluating the material and previous coatings.
Not automatically. Brick condition, moisture movement, desired appearance and the existing assembly should guide that decision.
A straightforward next step
We are happy to evaluate the area, explain what we see and provide a clear estimate for the work that makes sense.
